New Birds

We have acquired some gorgeous natural history prints in the past two months. Highlights include hummingbird and parrot hand-colored lithographs by famous 19th century artist John Gould, etchings by 18th century artist Xaverio Manetti (famous for depicting birds and wildlife in distinctive and animated poses), and chromolihographs from the great orinthological publication Naturgeschichte der Vogel Mittel-Europas by Johann Andreas Naumann.

Below is a sampling of the new prints we have in the gallery, but the best way to see our always- growing collection is to stop by our Georgetown shop. Additionally, you can view these new acquisitions on our website here.
