Just a quick post this morning to talk about Susan Goldman’s opening reception for Prima Materia: Vernal Matrix last week. It was a great success- we had a lot of new people in the gallery, as well as our usual bunch of familiar faces. Susan’s prints look fantastic on our gallery walls- a real injection of life and color. They are proving to be very popular- so if you haven’t seen the show yet, make sure to pencil us in!
With each new contemporary show we do, it seems we get significant increase in public response and buzz. We are really pleased that The Washingtonian picked up on the gallery show, as well as the Georgetowner, Galleries Magazine, The Pink Line Project, Georgetown Week, Painterly Visions, Journal of the Print World, and tons more. And on April 18, ArtBeat on WAMU talked about Prima Materia: Vernal Matrix! You can listen to the segment here.
The show will run until June 4, 2011. Check back here soon for more information on our Summer ’11 show- which will features prints from our Contemporary and Early 20th Century collection.
